Florida enjoys a subtropical climate with two distinct seasons. Winter goes from November to April and is characterised by pleasant temperatures during the day, with an average of about 21°C, and cool nights. This period, considered to be the high tourist season, is the best time to visit Florida. The summer is hot and humid. Temperatures fluctuate around 31°C, and tropical rain sprinkles the area. Cyclones sometimes devastate Florida between August and October.
In the United States, degrees Fahrenheit (°F) are used and not degrees Celcius(°C). The conversion method is done by subtracting 32 from the Fahrenheit temperature, multiplying by 5 and dividing by 9 to convert between Fahrenheit degrees and Centigrade degrees and the opposite for Centigrade to Fahrenheit degrees.
Take 20°C as a fixed point which corresponds to 68°F, 26°C to 79°F, 32°C to 90°F and 38°C to 100°F.
Florida and the Caribbean Basin are regions at high risk during the cyclone season, which officially begins on June 1st and ends on November 30th. Most of the inhabitants today respect the hurricane norms. However, it is asked that you are prepared and know a few pieces of advice that can, if the case arises, save a life.
