Sanibel, Estero, Bonita Springs, Pine Island, Cayo Costa and Gasparilla, the small islands of the Gulf of Mexico offshore from Fort Myers have immense white sand beaches, numerous parks and reserves, small villages and good hotel infrastructures. The region offers walks along scenery that is still preserved and many different activities including cycling, fishing, tennis, golf and various water sports. Here there is 16 miles of beach, 54 golf courses and 50 pleasure ports.
