Shopping
Bring back a lot of items that are likely to be more expensive in Europe. Venture into the den of shopping malls, gigantic commercial centres, and other shopping temples. Remember that prices are usually better in malls than in the shops in the centre of towns in tourist spots. Find electronic equipment (cameras, CD players and so on) and CDs. For all this equipment, except for cameras, remember the American voltage is 110-115 V. Bring adaptors. Clothing wise, bring back plenty of T-shirts and Levi's jeans (Levi's 501 are a good deal). More unusual, Indian handcraft offers entire outfits and leather articles. It is not necessarily cheap, depending on the area you buy them.
Try the freshly rolled cigars.
Caution when shopping, all prices are not displayed with taxes, but a local tax fluctuating between 0 and 15 % (depending on the states) has to be added. Shops open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm during the week and 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sundays.
