The climate on the United States East Coast is characterised by large temperature ranges. Spring is without doubt the mildest season: comfortable temperatures (between 15 and 25°C), sunny and little rainfall. The summer is characterised by high and heavy heat, with a high humidity rate (up to 40°C). Autumn is usually more pleasant, with lower temperatures and streets lined with the colours of an East Coast autumn: fiery reds, gold, and green. Finally, winters in New York often bring heavy precipitation, and sometimes very severe temperatures (down to -20°C).
