Head to the centre of Santo where the sites are more accessible than Mount Tabwemasana and are equally interesting. Mount Winbo (1,473 ft) can be climbed via a pleasant forest walk that allows you to see numerous species of birds. The route from Fanafo to Mantanas meanders through spectacular scenery, before descending into Grand Bay. As you descend, you will discover the Cumberland chain that makes up the northenmost point of the island.
