The climate is subtropical to the south (the temperature varies between 27 and 35 °C) and tropical to the north (between 20 and 28 °C). The ideal time to visit the North: November and the end of April to the beginning of May (Avoid July/August and the torrential rains). It's best to visit the centre of the country between Feburary and May. Between November and the end of January it is very rainy. For the South, it is best to travel between December and April (dry and sunny weather). From July to September, the rains lower travel prices. Rain is rare in Feburary. March and April are the warmest months.
