The Futuna coastal route.

The Futuna coastal route is 20 miles long. It stretches along an impressive rocky coast (do not expect beaches). Stop off at Vaisei village, where there is a preserved traditional hut with palm roof. It is in this fale fono that the residents meet for kava ceremonies. Then reach Pyramid Point to make the most of the views and finish off by visiting Leava church to the south of the island, which boasts a very beautiful sculpted wooden platform.
