The Kafue National Park, 124 miles west of Lusaka, spreads over 77,220 sq mi. It is the largest park in Zambia and one of the largest in the world. Here we see classic wildlife including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and hyena. You can see numerous species of antelope. The Kafue River is home to crocodiles and hippos and there are 400 different species of bird.
