The tango Argentina

Discover The tango

Tango was born in the seedy districts of Buenos Aires. At the beginning of the century, men practiced this very sensual dance together. It is still not uncommon today to see men dancing it together. Tango represents women, pleasure, abandoned lovers, misery, and difficult exile. No other music sings so much for Buenos Aires, and Carlos Gardel remains its greatest figurehead.
