Freeport is a modern town. The administrative buildings,
that are pink, and the residential districts, hidden in tropical gardens,
are not very interesting. Outside the centre,
go to the Pine Ridge district: this is where the old village of
Freeport is, where you can still find ruins of old churches. In this town, you find
the basic island services, but more of Nassau's colonial charm.
Visit the Hydraflora Gardens (Beach Drive and E. Sunrise Hwy), the
Perfume Factory, or the High Court building (Mall Drive).
