Discover The large trees Burkina Faso

Burkina-Faso does not have as luxuriant a flora as central African countries usually have. However, some large trees with undeniable qualities can be found all over the country: gum trees, baobabs, shea trees, tamarind trees, and mango trees supply the inhabitants of Burkina-Faso with their fruit and/or their shade. The north of the country is mostly the domain of dried grasses and a few thorny trees, such as acacia, jujube, or the balanites. The savannah extends into the south-west of the country. It is dense, and covered by a few thick forests.
