Grasslands National Park Canada
By Amy Adejokun Amy Adejokun Section editor

Discover Grasslands National Park

Grasslands National Park was created in the southwest of Saskatchewan, near the Montana border, in an effort to protect the region and its fauna and flora. You'll discover the superb Killdeer Badlands along the Frenchman River and, continuing further, the flat landscapes and wheat fields that bask in the sun. The wildlife, considered a national treasure, is abundant. Here you can see herds of bison, pronghorn antelope, prairie dogs and peregrine falcons, among many others. Don't forget your binoculars so that you can observe the animals without disturbing them!
