Opened on 6th April 2013, the new Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium is located in the largest natural science museum complex in Canada, alongside the Biodome, the Insectarium and the Botanical Garden, where the international Mosaïculture exhibition is held every 3 years. This site offers an usual approach to astronomy, inside a spectacular and bold architectural structure. Thanks to the state-of-the-art equipment, visitors can take part in amazing and interactive experiments and learn about the world of stars and planets. The planetarium links science and life with a poetic touch in order to appeal to the general public. Both young and old alike will learn lots of new things while having fun.
