Saskatoon, the second largest city in Saskatchewan, is worth going to for its university student atmosphere. The campus itself is undeniably charming. The South Saskatchewan river, which crosses the city, takes you to the Bessborough delta, a timeless building, and the Mendel art gallery. On the outskirts, the Western Development Museum's 1910 Boomtown reconstructs the main street of a Western mining town, with some thirty buildings and various museums.
