Discover The Appalachian Mountains
The Appalachian Mountains largely dominate the north of the region. They are ideal for long mountain hikes and visiting magnificent forests, so don't forget your walking shoes! You can also venture along the legendary International Appalachian Trail, which stretches for more than 1,865 miles between the State of Maine and the Newfoundland region. At 820m high, Mount Carleton is the highest point in New Brunswick. It is not far from Campbellton, and the summit offers a spectacular view of Chaleur Bay, which must be photographed. You should also consider going camping with your family or friends. The southeast of the region, on the other hand, is not mountainous and consists of a great plain.
