The black bear Canada
By Amy Adejokun Amy Adejokun Section editor

Discover The black bear

There are many black bears in North America, and therefore in Canada. They are smaller than brown bears and have longer snouts than grizzly bears. They can be seen in the national parks, particularly in Jasper National Park, where many live. Black bears easily adapt to the presence of humans and love food, but for safety reasons you are not be allowed to feed them.
