Discover Waterton Lakes National Park

Located to the south of Calgary, this national park is classified as a 'biosphere reserve' and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. Covering over 190 miČ, it attracts 400,000 visitors each year who visit the park to enjoy the prairies and forests at the foot of the mountains, and to observe the plants and animals. Many species, such as bison, grizzly bears, falcons and buzzards coexist in the park, much to the visitors' delight.
