Discover Valley of the Queens Egypt

South-west of Thebes and its Necropolis, on the Nile's western bank, the Valley of the Queens includes some one hundred restored tombs, including three that can be visited. Reserved for the tombs of the Pharaoh's companions and children, the Valley is located south of the great Necropolis. The tomb of Ramesses III's two sons, the tomb of Nefertari, the royal wife of Ramses II, and the tomb of Tyti, a companion of Ramses X, are all open to the public. Nefertari's tomb is considered to be the most beautiful one to have been discovered in Egypt. The wall paintings in it are remarkable.
