At only 19 miles from Nadi, and 137 miles from Suva, Lautoka is the second largest city in Fiji. Here, inhabitants live off the sugar industry but also on the distillery, built at the beginning of the 19th century. The city's marina, the Mosque and the Sikh Temple provide nice visits. There is also the Sleeping Giant Gardens, a gorgeous orchid garden created in 1977 by the American actor Raymond Burr.
