The capital city of Germany, Berlin has a colourful history which has left an indelible mark on the city. Following your flight to Tegel there are a couple of options open to visitors looking to travel into the city centre. Although there is a local train station called Tegel, it is important to remember is that there is no train station at Tegel Airport. Buses from the airport will connect you to all the major train stations in the city, these buses are extremely efficient and depart from the airport every few minutes. If you would prefer to take a taxi to the city centre, the journey will take you about 20 minutes and cost you approximately 25 euro.
