Depending on the airline you choose, your London to Toronto flight will depart from either London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport. Both airports are easily accessible from London city centre with a variety of public transport options available. All flights from London to Toronto will land at Pearson International Airport which is located 16 miles west of the city centre. Pearson International Airport is between 30 and 50 minutes driving time by car from downtown and is serviced by international carriers such as British Airways, Lufthansa, United Airlines and Air Canada. Although there is not currently a direct rail link from the airport to the city, the Toronto Transit Commission provides a bus service that will take approximately 25 minutes. There are also several different independent bus companies offering reliable airport to city services. A taxi from the airport is usually quite reasonably priced for those not wanting to use public transport.
