Required travel documents for Spain

If you wish to travel to Spain, you should bear in mind important information regarding visa requirements and time zone differences, which could be very useful to plan and enjoy your trip. Since both the UK and Spain are member states of the European Union, citizens from these countries are not required to get a tourist visa, as visa-free entry is guaranteed. Therefore, a valid - preferably biometric - passport or an ID card issued by a state of the EEA (European Economic Area) will be enough to pass border checks. With regards to the time zone difference, Spain is one hour ahead of the UK, meaning that only a very minor adjustment will be needed to the local time zone.
Zaragoza is the capital of Aragon, a region in the northeast of Spain. Its history stretches back to the Roman era, and has shaped the city's cultural heritage. The city's architecture is unique in Spain, it has many beautiful churches and some its cultural activities are the highlight of public life in the country.
