The Emirates baggage allowance is generous; in Emirates Economy Class passengers are permitted an item of hold baggage weighing up to 30kg, and in Emirates Business Class and First Class this item can weigh up to 40kg and 50kg respectively. On the other hand, bags cannot be larger than 150cm in size and excess weight will incur extra charges.Hand luggage restrictions depend on the ticket booking class. It is advisable, therefore, to check individual baggage restrictions for each class via the Emirates official website. For example, in Economy Class each passenger is permitted just one item of carry-on baggage (handbag, backpack, portable computer) and this must not exceed 7kg in weight or 55x38x20cm in size.Emirates check in is available from 24h to 90 minutes before the flight departure. Clients can either print their Emirates boarding pass or present a mobile version of it at the gate. If you are planning on checking-in in person at the airport desk it is advisable to leave at the very least an hour and a half to pass check in and security. Boarding starts 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time and doors close 20 minutes before the flight is due to leave.
