Flybe is a low cost British airline company. It was originally launched in 1979 under the name Jersey European Airways, but was later re-founded in 2002 following a series of fusions, name changes and sales. In December 2013 the Flybe fleet counted 68 aircrafts (Bombardiers, Q400, Embraer 195). The airline operates Flybe flights to over 200 destinations from the UK.
There are several ways to complete your Flybe check in : using the Flybe online check in service via the airline?s official website, Flybe.com, by checking in at the airport desk or via the self-service check in kiosks. All passengers must be at the departure gate at least 30 minutes before the flight is due to take off.
During Your Flight
Flybe Economy Class and Business Class passengers will have the opportunity to purchase meals and snacks on board their Flybe flight. The Flybe baggage allowance for both hand luggage and hold luggage varies depending on the ticket booking class. The ?Essentials? formula allows passengers to bring one bag weighing up to 10kg into the cabin for free, but does not include hold luggage. The ?New Economy? formula includes both hand luggage and hold luggage weighing up to 20kg. In Economy Class there are additional charges for items of hand luggage which must be paid for when booking your ticket. In First Class hand luggage is free.
