Iberia Economy Class and Business Class passengers are permitted just one item of hand luggage (56x45x25cm) according to the Iberia baggage allowance restrictions. The hold luggage restrictions are the same for all Iberia classes; hold luggage must not exceed 23kg. Business Plus and Business Club passengers have individual restrictions.Passengers travelling without check in luggage may check in online instead of checking in at the desk at the airport. Travellers may then choose their seat and print their Iberia boarding pass from home or receive their ticket directly onto their smartphone. Iberia online check in opens one day before the departure and remains available until one hour before the flight takes off. In addition, some destinations have different time schedules.Check in at the airport must be completed at least 45 minutes before most flight departures; however this time may vary depending on the aircraft destination. Iberia check in times for long-haul flights is generally longer (between 45, 60 and 90 minutes before the flight departure). It is advisable to confirm your check in requirements using the Iberia official website. Passengers must also be at the boarding gate 20 minutes before take-off.
