The Royal Air Maroc fleet is made up of 49 aircrafts, especially Boeing. In 1957, the Moroccan state owned 68% of the company.Following Economy success in 2006, the airline wished to create a Royal Air Maroc alliance with other African airlines like Atlas Blue (low cost airline), Air Senegal International (of which they already owned 51%), Atlas Hospitality (medical transport) and Atlas Multiservices (recruitment agency for the group Royal Air Morocco). It is now a member of the SkyTeam alliance. The group could not buy Air Mauritania because this company did not have the exclusivity on its territory.
