The vast Spanish region of Andalusia has several airports, the main one being San Pablo Airport in Seville. A flight to Andalusia with a scheduled airline departing from the UK takes around 3 hours. Various European airlines operate flights such as Air France-KLM, Iberia, TAP Air Portugal, British Airways, and Air Berlin. For cheap flights to Andalusia, numerous low-cost airlines also serve the region. Ryanair and Easyjet offer the lowest prices for direct flights to Seville Airport, while Vueling offers low-cost flights with a stopover. Another option for travelling to Andalusia is to land at Malaga-Costa Del Sol Airport. For a cheap flight to this destination, Ryanair offers attractive fares, with a direct flight from London Stansted at around œ30 on average. Easyjet, Flybe, FlyNiki and Air Berlin also operate low-cost flights to Malaga. Like Seville, Malaga Airport is served by most of the regulary scheduled European airlines. Buses provide transfers to the city centre in around ten minutes.
Beautiful Andalusia never ceases to enchant travellers! The architecture of its Muslim-era buildings is a real feast for the eyes and the mind. The Alhambra in Granada will lead you on a journey through the Caliphate of Cordoba and Moorish culture, just like the old town and the Albaicin˙and˙Sacromonte areas. Seville, the capital of Andalusia, shines with its rich cultural and architectural heritage. The chorus of an old Spanish song says "Quien no ha visto Sevilla, no ha visto maravilla" (He who has never seen Seville has never seen wonder)... The third jewel of the Golden Andalusian Triangle is Cordoba, the capital of the ancient Caliphate, through which the legendary Guadalquivir River runs. The city inevitably brings to mind the whitewashed streets, the picturesque flowery patios, and the soft murmur of the fountains in the gardens... But the cities of C diz, Ronda and Huelva are also worth visiting. Less well known, they have an undeniable charm and hold unsuspected treasures. This region of Spain also has a vast coastline with long beaches that are perfect for sunbathing. As for Andalusia's landscapes, they are extremely varied. The "vegas" (fertile plains) alternate with moon-like desert hills. Here you will also find the majestic mountain ranges of the Sierra Morena˙and the Sierra Nevada.
