The most populous city in Canada, Toronto is one of the most culturally diverse cities in North America. Toronto Pearson Airport is the largest hub for Air Canada, which offers flights to the city from destinations across Europe, Asia, South America and the United States. Following your flight to the city you can choose from a variety of options for onward travel. Although there is currently no rail link to the city, the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC ) provides an excellent bus service (192 Airport Rocket), that runs every 10-20 minutes, and takes approximately 25 minutes to reach the city centre. There are also of a number of rival companies offering reasonably priced transport to the city, including GO Transit, Mississauga Transit, and Pacific Western Airport Express. If you would prefer to take a taxi from the airport to downtown, there are a large number outside both terminal buildings waiting to whisk you into the city. Taxis run at a flat rate of $47, while the slightly more luxurious option of a limousine will cost you $50.
