Discover Les vignobles du Mâconnais France

Mâcon is the most expansive of the vineyards of Burgundy. It stretches over 16,000 acres. It can easily be described as having a southern character. The vineyards that stretch out over the hillsides are often dotted with ochre-coloured villages and castles. Rows upon rows of vines as far as the eye can see create a landscape of greenery until September, when you can see the grape harvesters hard at work. The entire region lives from the vineyards that have shaped the landscape. The most beautiful panoramas are around the Rocks of Solutré and Vergisson. They are surrounded by grapevines from which great wines known across France and the world over are produced.

    Charming villages

The villages scattered among the vineyards have held onto their old-world character, which it is very important to preserve.
