Corinth: what to do?

Argolis is within a very short walk. In a day you can visit some of the wonders of this region such as the theatre of Epidaurus (18 miles from Nafplion) and its completely unique natural acoustics, Tiryns and its fortress, the old town of Nafplion (just 3 miles from Tiryns ), which overlooks the sea on one side and land on the other.

The main areas of ancient and Byzantine Greece: Corinth and its canal, Mycenae and the city of Agamemnon are about 25 miles south of Corinth.

  • Its canal, a historical wonder
  • The archaeological richness
  • The merchants of souvenirs are omnipresent at the most visited sites
  • The highway runs too close to the canal. It's a pity
  • The beaches
