Agana

Our Editorial team's advice

Agana, the capital city, is filled with small, interesting spots such as the Casa Gobierno ruins, a tiny Statue of Liberty, Guam's historical museum, Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral on the famous Espana square and even the Statue of Jean-Paul II. However, the city's main attraction is Latte Stone Park, containing the famous stone pillars that look like mushrooms; a real symbol of the island on which the ancient Chamorros built their houses. There are also six historical parks dedicated to events that affected the island during World War II (see the ones in Agat and Asan).
