A little history lesson: the Manoir des Minimes was built on the site of a former convent. The building you see today dates from the 18th century. This delightful residence in the Loire Valley has been welcoming tourists who come to visit the Châteaux of the Loire from all over the world since 1998.
As soon as you enter the Manoir des Minimes, you discover period decor, wooden floors, moulding, gilding, antique furniture, and more. The French way of life is displayed here in all its glory.
On the ground floor, guests will find various little lounges where they can relax, read, or drink a hot chocolate by the fireplace. In summer, visitors can enjoy the mild weather in this region, notably chosen by the Kings of France for its climate. The continenatal breakfast is served as a buffet.
