The rooms are spacious and crammed with luxury. The materials used are of high quality and generally representative of the standards the hotel strives to meet. Most of the rooms are 20 m² and include la large sitting room fitted with a sofa bed, an armchair and a small table. The room in itself is fairly simple: it includes a big bed with bedside tables on either side of it. The dimmed lighting adds to the warmth and intimacy of the atmosphere. As in any self-respecting 5 star establishment, the rooms at the Crowne Hotel include a mini bar, a safe, satellite TV with numerous foreign channels, a direct phone line, a thermostat to set the heating to your preference and ironing equipment.
There is also 24/7 room service as well as a laundry service.
The bathrooms also boast everything you would expect from a 5 star establishment, but the interior decorating is slightly disappointing (it seems that less care was put into them than into the other rooms). However, they do include a bathtub, some welcome toiletries, a hair dryer and bathrobes.
The facilities are up to scratch but our preference goes for the Plaza Hotel, which is more modern.
