The Kudeta is very well-known in Tananarive. Many locals meet there. The decoration is Indonesian and Madagascan, particularly warm: red armchairs, old style yellow walls, Madagascan paintings, wooden tables, refined presentation, wrought iron lamps, rosewood sculptures... The cuisine is tasty, international and Madagascan, always varied: zebu carpaccio with chanterelles and pistou sauce, Japanese style grouper carpaccio, stir-fried escargot a la sommeroise, camaron with grilled banana seasoned with spices of the island, grilled mango with orange liquor. Chinese and Indian evenings are organized. The restaurant can serve 48 persons. The restaurant serves till 11 PM and the bar is open till 1 AM.
