The beautiful country house typical of the region is one of the few authentic 'mas' remaining in Antibes today, so there is a lot of history associated with it. The 13 rooms are found on the first and second floors, while the common areas are located on the ground floor. Facilities are basic but adequate and include a small lounge area that is connected with the breakfast room (used in the cooler months), and a porch used for alfresco dining, which overlooks a kidney-shaped pool nestled in the gardens.
One of the main things you notice at the Mas Djoliba is the abundance of beautiful plants and flowers; in pots, in flowerboxes, or left to grow freely, they add to the charm of the place. For a small hotel there is sufficient space; a front yard well-shaded with palms and orange trees provides private corners to relax with a book, while there is also adequate room surrounding the pool and porch. Indoors, the carpeted staircase and landings are decorated with fresh flowers, paintings and drawings, while a stained glass feature adds of character. Overall the big plus is feeling like you're in a big, cosy house rather than a traditional hotel. Meanwhile, WIFI connection and parking are free for guests.
