Beginning life as a family pension in the 1940's, the Miramar is a cosy two-storey hotel with only 14 rooms. The only facilities on-site are a lounge and dining area with corner bar, providing access to two outdoor terraces. There are no real leisure facilities but then again, the beach is only a one minute walk away!
The small lobby features a small lounge area with large cream leather sofas that face a TV and piano. The room is decorated with art and flowers and with its yellow walls and green accents represents the typical Provencal style. The common areas such as this one are casual and simple to enable guests to feel at home. Next door in the breakfast room the exposed stone walls and wooden rafters give the place a very cosy feel. At one end guests will find a lounge area with corner bar which operates on a 'trust system' (see Food and Drink). The back door leads to an outdoor terrace with wooden deck flooring. It is surrounded by shrubs and hedges to provide privacy from the neighbouring properties. There is a much smaller terrace, accessed by the front door in the breakfast room, however it looks directly on to the street and is therefore less calm and less private.
