The Arenal Spring, built in 2005, is accessed via a small, rocky path about a hundred metres long, and by going past the ranch, home to 28 horses. You will then see the small, solid buildings, which are simple and without any particular style. Each service takes place in small, separate structures, but they are nevertheless all close to one another. The reception is not very pleasantly decorated, but it does have wireless internet, like the bar next to the restaurant. You will very quickly forget about the massage room (10 types of massage offered) pompously called the 'spa', which is empty and with no interior decoration. It is better to take a dip just nearby, in the geometric-shaped swimming pool with a small section especially for children, and then go and have a drink at the bar on the same floor. The low-lying vegetation livens the place up. Next to a pretty lake, holiday-makers will find it difficult to make out the "huerta", the hotel's vegetable garden where fruit and vegetables grow. You leave the communal areas and follow the main path to reach the rooms, which are all located in small bungalows arranged next to each other on several perpendicular paths.
