Opened in 2004, the Conrad has imposing, square and very contemporary architecture. The buildings, with their geometric lines, are arranged in a W-shape, facing the sea. The very spacious and designer lobby opens onto the hotel area and the main square swimming pool. Various shops can be found adjacent to the reception. The lagoon meanders through the whole hotel, which also has a third swimming pool. Facing the deep blue ocean, it even has an artificial beach, which is ideal for children to splash about in. The whole hotel is impeccably laid out, with beautiful lawns, large tropical trees, straight and prettily rounded paths and vast, perfectly designed ponds. There is water everywhere. Beside the lagoon, the lawns are laid out in the style of the Bali rice fields. At night, the various ground lights give the surroundings an elegant aspect. Despite the considerable number of bedrooms, 313 in total, the various areas that are easy to access never become too crowded due to their size. Various lifts serve the buildings' three storeys. The large spa invites you to relax in an area of simplicity and peace. A waterway runs along the entire length of it. Inside, 12 massage rooms are available to guests, offering a plethora of treatments. A large daybed in the middle of a stretch of water is set aside for yoga classes. In the large, very well equipped fitness room, every machine has a television. The only problem is the absence of natural light. Baby turtles grow in a small pond in the large children's club, which is surrounded by security bars and carpeted by lawn. The two wall sections of the superb chapel with its contemporary lines form a pyramid reaching to the heavens and facing the ocean. Due to the large picture windows, natural light floods the area set aside for marriage ceremonies. There are three Balinese temples in the grounds.
