Given the size of the communal areas, you might expect to find accommodation for a record number of guests, but the Palace actually only contains 250 rooms and 32 suites. 127 of the rooms were renovated in 2005, and the remainder are still waiting their turn. Several categories are available: standard, superior and deluxe. Booking into one of the newer rooms comes at a price, as they are all in the deluxe category. Although their simple but modern decor is a bit different from that found elsewhere in the hotel, the same cannot be said of the unrenovated rooms. Management describes them as "elegant and classic", but they are actually rather old-fashioned spaces, much like the rest of the establishment. On the other hand, the facilities do meet the levels of comfort expected of a luxury hotel, including a plasma screen television, telephones, individual air conditioning, a safe, a mini bar with tea and coffee-making facilities, and a standard bathroom containing a bathtub, telephone, "Le Palace" welcome toiletries and a hair dryer. The Palace also has several suites decorated to original themes: oriental, lotus, panda, etc.
