From the reception, accessible along a beautiful shaded pathway, you can see the beautiful beach of Cabarete. The lobby offers a comfortable sitting area with large wooden tables and a television. Tea, coffee and cold drinks are offered to newcomers. Built in 1997 and renovated in 2006 when 30 rooms were added, the Azzuro Cabarete sits in the middle of a vast and well maintained area which it shares with the Azzuro Estrella, located in the eastern part of the complex. The resort has two swimming pools, including one huge and well-equipped pool, with two Jacuzzis and a waterfall, and another pool, smaller but more peaceful. Between the two, a games room on one of the floors houses a ping pong table and two billiard tables. It also serves as a dance hall. The large main pool, spanned by two small bridges, is dominated by the Italian restaurant Dal Toscano Pasta House, which serves as snack bar during the day. All 108 superior category rooms are located in 2 modern two-storey buildings without elevators.
