Built in 2001 and renovated in 2004, the Ceiba del Mar is suitable for the guests seeking tranquillity and rest in the first place. The lobby sets the tone: Mexican sculptures, a huge wrought-iron chandelier dominates the room, furnished with rattan and surrounded with lush green plants. Specifically, the owner of the premises, a Mexican, wonderfully manages the hotel, and the latter enjoys an excellent reputation in the region. The reception extends onto a restaurant, then comes a big and beautiful terrace overlooking a lake in the centre of lush gardens. The rooms are divided in eight buildings rising on two levels, all close to the sea, beautiful swimming pools, and an Italian restaurant. Three basins form the swimming pools one of which is big enough to swim. There is a terrace with swimming pool on the roofs of each building, it is possible to make a reservation for a private dinner ($ 20 in supplement). The wooden deck chairs lied with cushions and hidden in the shade of beach umbrellas are kindly made available to customers up to the beach. A spa centre, a library, a water sports centre are scattered in the gardens starting just after the reception, followed by a Mexican restauran to the left of the lake.
