    The hotel is located near the sea and face the island Isla Mujeres. The town centre served by many bus stands is located 5 miles away. It takes about 35 minutes to reach Cancun airport, which is 16 miles away.

    The rooms with standard decoration provide furniture of classical style accented with motif fabrics. Their average size balcony overlooks the sea. The rooms are equipped with cable television and satellite, telephone with direct access for international dialling, a mini-bar, a kit for coffee and tea and a safe. The air conditioning is centrally adjustable. The bathrooms are equipped with a bath tub, a shower, and a hair-dryer.

    The only building of the Fiesta Americana Cancun form a semi-circle, which opens onto the sea. Its façades, in the colours of ochre, brown and pink rise over five floors. They dominate a long swimming pool that winds between the banana trees. On the rear, stands the traditional palapa. Then it comes the beach. The property is home to a large lobby where a live concert takes place every day in a mix of colonial and Art Nouveau styles.

    The restaurant Chulavista serves breakfast buffet style or a la carte from 6:30 a.m. to noon. Lunch and dinner are prepared at the Palapa. The buffet providing local and international specialities offers a good selection of dishes. The cuisine is average but the space is comfortable and elegant. Shades of beige and wooden furniture blend harmoniously under a roof of palm leaves. The restaurant opens from noon to 11 p.m. and organises an evening dedicated to Mexico on Thursday. The Italian restaurant Barolo serves a la carte from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

    The public beach of Cancun is located at the foot of the hotel. It is rather small and noisy in this section. But its fine white sand stretches indefinitely by the turquoise blue gradient of the Caribbean Sea. The beach is guarded and cleaned. An office for renting water sports equipment is located right next door. The waters are crystal clear. Otherwise, the Bikini Bar allows to isolate yourself from the bustle.
