As you go up to the different floors you'll notice lots of little hearts here and there that are not only the symbol of the Savoie department but also the owner's favourite shape. They can be seen on the doors, the bedspreads, the curtains, etc., and, along with the wood, form a running theme throughout the hotel.
With 18 rooms divided into 8 categories, it is difficult to determine which ones are the standard rooms at the Auberge. Other than the heart motif, they all have a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere and the solid light wood furniture in common. Their main difference is that some have a balcony (several of which offer a view of Mont Blanc and a mansard roof) and a reading area, while the bathrooms are equipped with either a shower or a bath.
