The Hasdrubal Thalassa Djerba is a facility with carefully chosen amenities: everything is there for the guests' comfort and tranquillity. An address to appreciate, preferably as a couple, to really enjoy the setting.
The Hasdrubal is located 17 miles from the airport of Djerba (30 to 35 minutes to get there by car), 11 miles from Houmt Souk and 3 miles from Midoum. It is only 1 mile from the golf course of Djerba (18+9 holes).
All rooms are very spacious (452 ft² with a lounge area). They are equipped with adjustable air conditioning, satellite television and mini-bar, a safe and a telephone with a direct line. The bathrooms are very comfortable (hair dryer, robes, slippers, but no shower separate from the bathtub). The toilets are separate. A loggia allows an open view of the sea, swimming pool or patios.
Built in 1990 and maintained every year, the Hasdrubal is one of the comfortable addresses in Djerba. The 210 rooms and the 5 suites are housed in one building with three floors and has elevators. The decor and Arabic-Moorish style are without great originality.
The Hasdrubal has two restaurants, one of which is à la carte. The guests of the hotel have their tables reserved. The cuisine is international and Tunisian. Breakfasts are served around a big buffet but dinners are served at the table. Once a week, a Tunisian dinner is organised. For lunch, a snack-bar near the swimming pool offers a fast lunch menu. The restaurant à la carte offers guests a diet menu, served in a space reserved for them.
Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa definitely deserves its name with its 5,000 m² thalassotherapy centre! Open from 9am to 1pm and from 2:30pm to 7pm, it includes a water circuit of seawater heated to 37 ° C, half indoor and half outdoor. 1.40 metre-deep circular basin that includes hydromassage jets. The centre's decor is superb: fountains, pottery, ceramics, a budgie cage... The amenities also include 22 individual massage and treatment rooms, a relaxation area where herbal tea is served, mattresses filled with water, sauna and hammam compartmentalized into three rooms of different temperatures. The products used are from the top-of-the-line French brand Algotherm. On the menu: shiatsu, hot stone, Ayurvedic, Swedish, Californian, Balinese, Oriental massages, etc., the list is very complete! And as if that were not enough, there is a private spa for couples next to the swimming pool of the hotel, with its own hammam.
The beach of the hotel is part of the beach of Sidi Mehrez, one of the most beautiful and quiet in Djerba. It is well equipped with straw huts and lounge chairs. The hotel provides free beach towels.
This hotel shares, with the neighbouring hotel, an independent thalassatherapy centre. the Vital-Centre. This modern centre has 6 areas: "health and welcoming" where the guests receives advice from a physician, "hydrotherapy" with 24 rooms for treatments, "form" with 2 hamams and 2 saunas, "massage and electro-physiotherapy" with 8 rooms for massage, "dietetic" with a restaurant and a sophrology area, and the "beauty" space for aesthetic care. It offers 8 types of cures: vital balneotherapy cure, anti-heavy legs cure, young mother cure, anti-stress cure, bio-lifting cure, arthro-rheumatismal cure, slimness cure, and beauty cure. A mini Vital Club centre takes care of children under 12 years of age when the parents are taking a cure.
