The Isis is based close to Midoun, a small village located 9 miles from Houmt Souk, the capital of the island. Djerba airport is accessible in about twenty minutes.

Accommodation 7.20 /10

The rooms of the Isis are simple but very comfortable. They are spacious and have light wood furniture, individual air conditioning, television, telephone and a little balcony. The bathrooms have bathtubs and hair-dryers and are decorated in pink and white tones. Ideal for families, the Isis has double, triple and quad rooms. All accommodations have a view of the gardens or the terrace.

Overview 7.45 /10

The main building, modern and built in the Tunisian style, has four levels. The front desk occupies the second floor of the first level. You access the swimming pool and other hotel features by going down one floor. On each side of the front desk, two staircases take you to the higher levels. The construction of the central building is in the shape of an arc. It surrounds the large swimming pool and its entirely tiled sun terrace. The main building has two large menzels, hosting a total of 87 rooms.

Food and drink 6.70 /10

With a half-board formula, meals are served as buffets in the main restaurant called "La Perle." Access to the dining room is just past the solarium terrace. It serves international and local cuisine. A barbecue-grill at the edge of the swimming pool, "the Hippocampus", will be an ideal place to have lunch. Night owls will be able to calm their hunger until 1 am, at the snack-bar of the hotel.

Beach 7.20 /10

The Isis has a beach of fine sand about 1,312 ft from the hotel. You access it from the back of the hotel, following a lonely, little-used road. From 9am to 3pm, a carriage goes from the hotel to the beach and back, and the trip is free. Deckchairs and sunshades are availabe for clients free of charge. A beach-bar allows you to quench your thirst all day long or to eat a quick lunch. The most sports-minded people are provided with all sorts of water activities (jet skiing, water skiing, sailing,...) for extra charge.

To know

Built in 1998, the Isis is a modern facility with new and fancy facilities. It has had a balneotherapy centre since 2000. The latter offers hammam baths with eucalyptus, marine algae wrappings, massage and hydromassage sessions.

  Pub mensongère ! Ne mérite aucune étoile. Les locaux pensent de même et nous ont dit que c'était de la folie d'y séjourner au vu des nombreux cas d'intoxication alimentaire recensés.

  C'est un séjour que j'ai offert pour ma mère qui en avait bien besoin ! Elle a fêté ses 60 ans à ce moment là et le spa lui a fait beaucoup de bien ! Près d'une semaine de détente rien que pour elle ! Elle s'y est senti bien !
- Advantages
  La vue (je lui ai pris une chambre bénéficiant d'une vue), le service, le confort. Et puis le calme !!! Dieu que ça fait du bien de s'éloigner de nos grandes villes bruyantes et polluées !!
- Disavantages
  Un peu cher pour mon budget mais ça reste abordable ! Attention aux petits plus qui coûtent un oeil !

  Superbe hôtel à Djerba, dans un cadre magique, accueil chaleureux, le personnel parle Français. Spa, thalasso, grande piscine: LE BONHEUR!

  L'Isis dispose d'une plage de sable fin à environ 300 m de l'hôtel. . Une calèche effectue gratuitement des allers-retours de l'hôtel à la plage. Parasols et transats sont mis gratuitement à la disposition des clients. Un beach-bar permet de se désaltérer tout au long de la journée et de se restaurer rapidement à l'heure du déjeuner. Les plus sportifs pratiqueront toutes sortes d'activités nautiques (jet-ski, ski nautique, planche à voile) proposées avec supplément.
