The Angora Beach is a charming hotel that will win over those who love a peaceful holiday. You won't have music ringing in your eyes all day long or an activity leader announcing a new activity on a microphone every 15 minutes. No, the keyword here is rest, in a simple and laidback atmosphere. Plus, this small hotel has the advantage of being located on the seafront. There's nothing like a little stroll through the garden for some relaxation. The hotel is open from April to October.

The establishment is located in Doganbey, 9 miles from the village of Özdere. The airport is 26 miles away and takes about 50 minutes to reach.
The 112 guest rooms are spread out in the garden in charming little constructions. You will find twin beds on the ground floor and double beds on the first floor. There are only two categories of rooms: double and family, but these are actually adjoining. Inside, the well thought-out decor is very welcoming. You will immediately feel at home. The living room area is the same size as the sleeping area. The ceiling was made out of wood from Bodrum. Every room has either a balcony or a terrace equipped with wrought iron furniture. In the bathroom, though, there is just a shower. In terms of amenities, you will have all the essentials: a television, air-conditioning, refrigerator, room service during the day and a safe that is free to use.
Built in 2008, the Angora Beach is hidden behind two heavy Oriental-style doors. Guests are welcomed in a small courtyard where the reception area faces a lounge with large picture windows. You can immediately sense the calm here, where flower-lined paths lead to the guest rooms and common areas. At the end of the main path you will find a lovely swimming pool divided into two sections and spanned by a little wooden bridge. Plastic deckchairs with mattresses surround the pool. There are a few parasols under which you can seek some shade on the wooden solarium when the area covered with an awning is crowded. From here you can see the sea.
There is an ŕ la carte restaurant here but most of the guests usually eat at the main restaurant. It is surrounded by a pretty terrace that is, unfortunately, a little small, so most of the tables are inside. It would be nice if they were a little more spread out. Oh well, at least you will have a view of the sea thanks to the large picture windows.
The restaurant operates as a buffet for all three meals of the day. In the shape of a circle, it was designed so that it would be easy to access the various dishes. The cuisine is generally international but there is a Turkish theme night once a week.
The beach is right in front of the hotel, which it is separated from by a wide promenade. The sand is grey and fairly fine. The hotel has the area cleaned every morning. The straw parasols and plastic deckchairs with mattresses are set up a little too close together. We would have preferred it if they were spaced out a bit better, given the size of the bay. From here, you can see the island of Samos, in Greece, in the distance. There is no water sports club at the establishment but you will find little huts along the beach where you can hire various equipment.
The hotel is located next to many shops on the main road along the coast. It operates under an all-inclusive formula.
A new building is currently being added to the establishment where a spa will be installed. In the meantime, guests can go to a centre that is independent of the hotel. There's is no children's club here but your little ones will have access to a swimming pool and a playground.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel for free.
