    Location 7.0 /10

The Elenite Holiday Village is just 6 mi from the resort of Sun Coast (Slantchev Briag in Bulgarian), which, along with the Golden Sands resort, is the largest and most popular of Bulgaria's seaside resorts. The complex is also close to the historical town of Nessebar.

    Accommodation 7.20 /10

The 476 standard rooms are divided between several bungalows called the Elenite Villas, which are dotted on the hillside and can sleep up to 4 guests. However, given that they have 1 double bed and 2 bunk beds, they are best suited to two adults with two children. The decor is a little kitsch (the same fuchsia taffetas for the curtains, beds, bench seats and chair), but the rooms are spacious and all have a balcony or patio with a pleasant view over the sea or garden. They are all equipped with satellite television, a direct international phone line, a minibar and a safe (payable locally).

    Overview 7.45 /10

The Elenite Holiday Village hotel is part of the vast resort of the same name, built in the style of an amusement park where the fairytale starts as soon as you are through the doors. It may have fewer attractions, but it is definitely more peaceful, and is a real treasure for families wanting a quiet holiday with their children - the property is safe (monitored by a security team) and golf carts are provided to help you get around. Basically, the utmost is done to satisfy guests' needs. The hotel in question is located at the very end of the complex. Rather than a single building, it occupies several blocks built up the hillside. Before climbing the steps, you will pass the disco, followed by the Irish Bar under the stairs, finally reaching the lobby, which is next to a bowling alley. The entrance hall is large and originally decorated, and nearby you'll find the terrace of the 'Sozopol' restaurant, with amazing sea views. (It takes its name from the town 19 mi south that was previously named Apollonia and is one of the most beautiful locations of the Black Sea coastline). There is a large swimming pool nearby where guests can lounge on recliners under white parasols. It's a pleasant set-up between the mountains and the sea, which is a 1300 ft walk away. The comfortable rooms are housed in small bungalows, adding to the village feel of the place. This is a truly charming resort where you'll want to spend more time outside than in.

    Food and drink 6.95 /10

There really is something to suit everyone here! The all-inclusive option applies irrespective of where and what you decide to eat, with Bulgarian and international dishes on the menu. The main restaurant, 'Nessebar', serves buffet meals and has its own special area for children, while the 'Sozopol' and 'Taliana' restaurants serve meals la carte. Reservations are necessary. Breakfast is served from 7:00am to 10:00am, lunch from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, and dinner from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. As for local beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), only the 'Irish Bar', which opens from 10:30am to midnight, is included in the all-inclusive deal.

    Beach 7.45 /10

The fine sand beach 1300 ft from the hotel is reached along a small alley. This is a large, well-maintained beach where you can enjoy total relaxation and which also has an independent water sports centre offering various activities for an additional charge.

    To know
