Located in the heart of the Medina of Essaouira, and some 984 ft from the sea, la Maison du Sud allow you to take full advantage of Essaouira.
14 rooms with simple decoration welcome holidaymakers. They are divided as follows : 8 rooms on the mezzanine, 3 suites accommodating up to 2 people and 3 suites accommodating up to 4 people. There is neither a television, nor a telephone. All rooms overlook the patio and have heating.
La Maison du Sud opened its doors in December 2000. This authentic 18th century house is located in the heart of the medina. It consists of 2 floors and a terrace. A small patio offers holiday makers a moment of relaxation.
You can have dinner and breakfast, upon reservation, in one of 3 Moroccan lounges or on the terrace.
The beach of Essaouira is just 984 feet away. It is ideal for surfing and windsurfing enthusiasts... Watch out, it is very windy.
The restaurant service and the Moroccan dishes are copiously offered.

A recommendable place for lovers who will find a quiet place, good for romantic holidays. Consisting of three riads dating from the XVIII century, the Villa Morocco only has 13 rooms, which adds to the charm of the place. A hotel where you feel at home, with the beach only 10 minutes away by foot.
The Villa Quieta is just for you if you want complete relaxation. The decoration is very beautiful but the hotel does not provide animation activities, swimming pools or any real gardens. However, its terrace is a nice place to get tan. The hotel does not serve alcohol and you will have to go out to get your meal. The beach is located opposite the hotel.

You'll really feel at home here, thanks to the attentive and discrete service. It's very different from the other riads located in the medina, and maybe a little less authentic, but it is just as pleasant and most probably more friendly.
This is the only riad in Essaouira to have direct views over the ramparts and the rocks. This is a simply breathtaking sight! This former windmill has successfully been converted into a charming riad. Even if you're not staying here, it's worth having a drink or meal at its restaurant, be it just to enjoy the view. This is a historic hotel in Essaouira, where Orson Welles once stayed. The Hotel des Iles is a little old and worn but it has a kind of aura and mystery about it. It is well-located and provides an alternative for travellers on a restricted budget. It will be interesting to revisit this hotel once the renovation work has been completed.
