The Roc Carolina is a hotel for young people with a small budget who wish to enjoy lots of sport activities during the day as well as the animated evenings at Cala Ratjada.

The hotel is located on the beach of the bay of Font de Sa Cala, on the north-east of Mallorca, surrounded by a pine wood. Cala Ratjada downtown, located 2 miles away, is easily accessible by public transporation. The airport is located 40 miles away. About 1 hour and 30 minutes driving.
The 198 rooms of the hotel offer a comfort worthy of simple rooms, but they are very clean, 2 simple beds, a desk, a white wooden closet and tiled floor. The bathroom offers a bathtub and welcome products. There is no TV nor air-conditioning. All the rooms offer a view of the bay along with a balcony with plastic chairs and a dry-line.
Built in the 1960s, the Roc Carolina, over the bay of Font Sa Cala, is composed by a large white building of 9 levels containing 198 rooms. The architecture is dull and it really lacks charm. If you want to relax, you should use the places around the circular pool and the fitted out sports area, but it is quite cramped. The hotel is owned by Mamara that makes all the animation all day long: sport courts, workshops and shows every evening.
The hotel has a main indoor restaurant that offers a simple international cuisine served buffet-style, it is not very varied but at will. The dining room is pretty large and you will have a great view of the Mediterranean sea through glassed-in openings. Close to the pool, you will find a snack-bar that is offered for the clients for snacks as well as fresh drinks all day long. The hotel has an ''all inclusive'' formula which includes all the local meals and drinks or non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast is ready from 8 to 10.30 AM., lunch from 12:30 to 3 PM and dinner from 6.30 PM to 9.30 PM. The hotel also has a very animated bar during the evening, serving cold snacks from 10:30 AM to 11 PM. Non-alcoholic drinks are part of the ''all-inclusive'' formula, but not alcohol or the cocktails.
The public beach of Font De Sa Cala is located below the hotel, you must pass over a gate and go down a few steps to get here. It is not too big, and it is pretty crowded in high season; a bed of seaweeds spoils the clearness of the water. Sunshades and beach chairs are rented, you will spend an average of 5 to 10 euros a day for the seat (4 to 8 pounds sterling).
Despite its smallness, the space is entirely capable of offering a large choice of sport activities. Lodging advice:If you want to enjoy a very nice view of the sea, ask for a room on the upper floors of the hotel.

Après deux séjours 2012 et 2013 toujours aussi satisfait. Hôtel simple et très bien tenu. Les pieds dans une eau turquoise Que demander de plus pour une semaine de repos.

Nous avons passer un excellent séjour d'une semaine au club Marmara roc Carolina. Les animateurs sont au top ,le personnel de l'hôtel aussi. Au niveau du restaurant il y a du choix variés et pour tout les goûts. Location de voiture en face de l'hôtel pas cher et petit train qui passe a côté pour aller en ville.

Très bon hôtel,toutes les chambres ont une vue sur la mer sauf si vous êtes au premier étage....Personnel accueillant et charmant tres bon repas bonne animation l'hotel est un peu eloigné mais avec 5? un taxi nous emmene en ville

Majorque; la belle île! Très bon hotel, très bien situé! Proche de la mer, proche des villes (grace au mini-train)... La nourriture proposée est variée mais certains plats sont tout de même classique pour éviter un dépaysement peut être... Nous avons passé une superbe semaine! A refaire avec les même animateurs!
