The establishment has 266 rooms, 32 of which are suites, spread across two buildings. On one side you have the Métropole wing, which is an original century old building and on the other you have the Opera wing (137 rooms).
All the rooms have a classy, charming interior: parquet flooring, the Sofitel MyBed that guarantees a restful sleep, a flat-screen television, pretty photos, nice colours, ancient colonial-style furniture and a bathtub in the bathroom. In all rooms there is a wardrobe to keep the dressing-gowns, kimonos, slippers and a safe, free of dust. Air-conditioning, a minibar, a hair-dryer, an alarm clock and toiletry products are also available.
In the ancient part, the 400 sq ft rooms have a feel of the old times and some of the elements of the interior, such as the dark wood fan or the carpets, are reminiscent of the distant colonial days. In the Opera wing, the rooms are only 350 sq ft and are more modern in their colours and furniture.
The bathrooms aren't the same on either side: In the older wing, they are spacious, entirely made of marble, but quite classic, and in the modern wing, they are smaller with the bathtub joints already peeling away; however they are nicely decorated and include a set of scales! In both cases, the toilets are not separate, which is a pity!
There are two types of view: city or garden. The latter are calmer but all the rooms have double-glazing. Regrettably, it is impossible to open the windows and let some fresh air in. As for the balcony, it is a complete disappointment!
